I. A. The adoption of a proposed comprehensive plan in compliance with the State of Wisconsin’s Comprehensive Planning Legislation for the Town of Woodland, County of Sauk, Wisconsin.

The purpose of the proposed hearing is to consider the adoption of the Town of Woodland Comprehensive Plan prepared under Wisconsin’s Comprehensive Planning Legislation, adopted in 1999 and contained in Wis. Stats. §66.1001. This Plan meets all of the statutory elements and requirements of this legislation.
B. Copies of the Town of Woodland Comprehensive Plan can be obtained from the Sauk County Planning and Zoning Office at the Sauk County West Square Building, 505 Broadway, Baraboo, WI 53913 (Telephone 608/355-3285). Fees will be charged to cover printing costs.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the 2008 Assessment Roll will be open for public inspection on May 19th through May 23rd, 2008. The Assessor will be available on May 29, 2008 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the City Hall, 232 West Pleasant Street.
FURTHER NOTICE IS GIVEN that the Board of Review for the City of New Lisbon will convene on Thursday, May 29, 2008 at 6:00 PM in the City of New Lisbon Council Chambers at 232 West Pleasant Street. Adjournment is scheduled for 8:00 PM the same day.
If you feel your assessment is unfair, contact the Assessor’s office and discuss it with the Assessor. He can explain the procedure used in arriving at the assessment. If you are still dissatisfied and wish to object to the assessment, immediately contact my office to file the formal “Form of Objection” and arrange a hearing before the Board of Review prior to adjournment of it public hearing.
Remember that a Board of Review operates similarly to a court. Their function is not one of deciding valuation, but of deciding the validity of the facts presented orally before them. You or your representatives may provide testimony to the Board for objection to your assessment. If you feel your assessment is not market value, bring evidence to support your claim.

Further notice is hereby given that the Board of Review will meet at the Village Hall from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Wednesday, May 28, 2008. Please be advised of the following requirements if appearing before the Board:
No person shall be allowed to appear before the Board of Review, or to contest the amount of any assessment of real or personal property if the person as refused a reasonable request of the assessor to view such property.
